Colour Film
Most of my C41 / E-6 colour film is processed at photo labs, such as Burlington Camera (C-41) and AgX Imaging in Sault Ste. Marie (E-6).
B&W Film
During the government imposed travel restrictions and mandatory confinement rules era of 2020-2022, I made use of my time to establish a new way to develop black & white film. Traditional chemicals and even caffenol had a very potent smell to process film in the kitchen and after some testing I was able to fine-tune a film processing concoction that had virtually no smell, produced a wider dynamic range than caffenol and was totally safe to dispose via the sink. I called it Cawanol, just to give it a name. The ingredients are readily available and mainly consist of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) powder, Instant Coffee, Washing Soda (wet), Salt and Reversed Osmosis city water. I still help out several photographers by processing their B&W films using this method.
